Services

Waste Collection

Solid Waste management services are contracted through Polk County with various subcontractors.

Water

The Village treats and meters water for its residents. If you have a question about your water bill or service, email clerk@highlandpark-fl.org.

Street Lights

The Village provides lighting for Village streets and public property. To report a lighting outage on public property, please contact Duke Energy directly at https://www.duke-energy.com/outages

Code Enforcement

The Village contracts with Polk County for code enforcement. To report violations call 863-534-6733.

Building Permits (Authorization Form)

The Village must first review and approve any building permits prior to submission to Polk County. Contact the City Manager at

citymanager@highlandpark-fl.org regarding the application process.

The Village of Highland Park contracts with Polk County Waste and Recycling. If you have any issues regarding waste or recycling pickup, please contact the Clerk's Office at (863) 455-6518.

Regular Garbage:

Pick up on Fridays

"Backdoor" service is provided.

Recycling:

Pick up on Thursdays

Brush/Yard Waste:

Pick up on Thursdays

(Please note: You must have it bundled or in a container.)

There is no bulk pick up for yard waste.

Bulk house items (refrigerators/couches) are picked up on the 4th Friday each month.
