The Depot building was constructed in 1928 by the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad as a passenger station. It is in the Mediterranean Revival style that was so popular at the time with stuccoed walls and a barrel tile roof. The depot was converted to a museum in the late 1970's. The museum displays antique quilts, dolls, and Indian artifacts throughout the ear, as well as other artifacts of local interest. The Depot is home-central for the Lake Wales Historic Society.

Site of the great Christmas Train Wreck. This is also the depot that President Coolidge came into in 1929 on his visit to Bok Tower.
